Before watching the video I will state that it is not bad writing, it is deliberate writing. It can be bad, but it does not have to be. Flash is so fast that he should really only struggle against another speedforce wielder. But other speedsters are not as fast as he is.

I really think all the speedsters should have stamina issues, think about it, they run and move as fast as they can and they can run/move much more than you do because of that, they get tired and slower, so they need a breather after their barrage of attacks

XMAN quicksilver is by far my favourite depiction of a speedster. Really wished we seen more of it and Evan Peters was perfect for the role. Avengers one is a joke.

One thing to note about MCU quicksilver is that he did not use himself as a human shield. It's hard to tell what happened but he actually appears to push Hawkeye behind the car. (Either that or he pushed the car in front of hawkeye). In the shot where quicksilver blues past hawkeye the background actually changes the moment quicksilver reaches him, also, quicksilver's pose after he gets shot is not one of blocking the bullets, but one that suggests that he just three something. Still lost to bad writing tho

6:35 i watched two or three of your vids on this, because im procrastinating the fuck outta my sunday, but in all this evaluation of a-train vs homelander you have seem to omit the human aspect of super-human, which the boys actually take into account very well with both of them. a-train might be more on-par with homelander but he doesnt THINK so, just because HL is so imposing and frankly crazy, the power of his personality rather than his abilities makes a-train afraid of him, which you did skim over in this video briefly. which is again, pretty good writing and does make a-train more compelling as a speedster. i haven't watched season 4 tho

Mocking Miyazakis spirited away writing is just downright disrespect. Where is Miyazaki and where is RSG2? I know this argument might sound stupid, but still want to emphasize the fact, that spirited away got an Oscar. I believe best critics in the world are not dumber than this random youtuber, so their opinion being positive makes me ask this creator. I am only a newby in writing right now, and even though its widely advertised in the video that anime is trash. This man only watched the titles that lie on surface. His opinion is basically the same, as judging Star Wars by Reis trylogy, or all Marvel movies be Deadpool. In my opinion this approach to art (wont be afraid to use this word in describing anime), is really incompetement. RSG2 implies, that anime characters have no real character building because of repetitive dialogue schemes in all the anime, and their repeating of the last ideas and traumas. Its made especially for later viewers to catch up to the story (because majority of the animes are shows) and to get a basic understanding of whats going on. The other viewers, who watch the anime from the start, ignore this repetitive information and just look at the further progress of character development, and what did he decide to change or alter about his way of thinking. This my short summary is just a retrospective, but still shitting on anime because of the tropes is the same as shit on romance movies, because the all are about love and acceptance. I hope RSG2 notices this comment and tries to delve into more anime, because this genre implies much more, than meets the eye of an experienced critic. As an advice i would suggest watching a sports anime, or trying to watch character analysis from "Harsh reviews" channel. Maybe getting a piece of advanced dive into anime would be great for experience.

Red rush cant seems to not be able to do small normal motions at super speed, seeing as how when he grabs the civilians, he has to stop for a second to grab them before running. So he probably has to slow down a little bit to punch omniman. Omniman is super super strong, and, while not as fast, is still extremely fast. He misdirected RR by looking away, so he wasn't expecting it. This one i just have to disagree with

The real issue here is inconsistency, which you’ve touched on before. There’s always examples of the “Superman” (e.g., Homelander, Omni Man) moving faster than the speedster but then other examples clearly contradict that speed. Everyone always talks about Homelander saving Butcher from the explosion, which is obviously impossible if he’s able to get punched in the face by multiple normal supes. Same thing with Omniman destroying the planet or him/Invincible traveling between galaxies within days or weeks. Yeah, the writers didn’t look at every speed or strength example and say hey we need to make sure this is 100% consistent so the nerds on the internet can compare characters. Like chill out bro, there clearly is no correct answer to any of these questions and this should just be for fun. This is fiction, you can’t actually apply science to a universe with rules that are constantly changing. The real idiot is someone that’s really confident in anything else.
